The plating process of galvanized square pipe is mainly pretreated, electroplated and post treated. The quality of the coating depends on the plating process of the material, and the electroplating process is affected by many factors. The six factors are summarized as follows:
1, the zinc content of zinc in zinc block: the higher the purity, the brightness range is narrow, the car plate is easier to get thicker coating, the iron content of the coating will be low; when the purity of zinc block is too low, the light range is wide, the thickness of zinc layer provisions to achieve longer in time, this will lead to a high iron content in zinc coating.
2, sodium hydroxide: sodium hydroxide has double effects on the reaction. When the content is too high, the phenomenon of Scorch is likely to occur during high temperature operation. When the content is too low, the dispersing ability of the solution is poor, which will reduce the quality of the zinc coating.
3, Ji'nan: galvanized iron content that when iron content is too high, in the coating of iron will lead to more appropriate, product passivation brightness is insufficient; and the iron content is too low will lead to low iron content in zinc coating, corrosion resistance of automobile plate, and will cause the car plate surface is olive.
4, brightener: too high concentration will enhance the brittleness of the coating, and too low will cause the low current zone is thinning, the phenomenon of inhomogeneous passivation.
5, temperature: too high temperature in the electroplating process will lead to the decrease of the dispersing ability of the solution, the increase of the iron content in the coating and the inhomogeneity of passivation. When the reaction temperature is too low, the high current density area will easily scorch, the coating is brittle and the deposition speed is slow.
6, cathode movement speed: during the electroplating process, the cathode must be kept in the mobile state. If the moving speed is too fast, the coating in the high current density area will be coarser during the plating process, and the moving speed is too slow, which may cause air flow, resulting in the uneven coating.
